Portfolio

  • I serve under the HeadMaster, providing school-wide leadership for technology integration to support learning. The role of IT Director was consolidated with the position of Director of Learning Technology to prioritize support for student learning.
  • Implementation of a complete IT Infrastructure upgrade, with new networking components and new 802.11ac WiFi system with over 130 access points (APs) to support up to 100 wireless devices per classroom for future school growth
  • IB-DP training and have taught ITGS and Design Technology. My Education MA in curriculum design complements my Digital Media MA, along with teaching experience in MS, HS, and university levels. I have moved from the classroom back to senior leadership as Director of Learning Technology/IT, finding my higher-education experience as technology director very helpful in helping prepare students for tertiary studies.
  • When I arrived at ICS in 2011, I was able to help rejuvenate the Library, increasing circulation along with research instruction. Under my leadership, ICS has expanded digital resources to include Follett eBooks, and online databases for scholarly research.
  • I have lead in the implementation of an Apple 1:1 device deployment, enhancing availability for students. Continuous professional development for teachers at all levels helps all stakeholders realize the benefits of appropriate technology integration. In addition to integrated teacher instruction regularly in faculty meetings, we initiated an in-house tech Pro-D day last year, with valued outcomes from practical application support to teachers in every division.
  • Experience with PowerSchool and Schoology, as well as web design with WordPress and other software.
